Launched in October 1994, Nightclubbiz.com began as little more than a BBS style forum. At this time, it was not intended as much more than a nightclub hobbyist site. The forum became exceptionally busy and so did requests for nightclub help services. As of 2002, nightclubbiz.com began focusing more on the increased demand for professional consulting services. The forum was retired, due largely to the fact it was becoming more of a fulltime babysitting job, while its reputation for encompassing some of the best minds in the world was being washed away in a sea of frivolous and redundant postings from junior class participants --unfortunately too lazy to search 'before' posting their questions. The most interesting… And possibly best nightclub operations discussions in history were saved, now residing within the 22,500 page nightclub knowledge base for members.

Nightclubbiz.com was the first ever to offer online nightclub consulting services, and also a first to offer them by phone. The idea was hatched when the questions were posed… Do all clients require the presence of nightclubbiz.com onsite? And… Are the costs associated with onsite consulting something all clients can afford? What if… All you want are questions answered, or insight into a specific concept you're considering? The truth is this… The bulk of our nightclub consulting services are 'intellectually based', so in most cases, the quality of service is not increased as the result of an onsite presence.

This service actually began in 1995, but was ramped up considerably as of 2002. An introductory package at a price of $69.95, which includes a 60-minute power consultation and 1-year access to the online nightclub knowledge base was offered. The result was overwhelming and largely because, while other so-called consultants were attempting to commit prospective clients to thousands of dollars in air, travel, and consulting fees… Nightclubbiz.com made accessing the information they required fast, easy, and affordable. Granted, Nightclubbiz.com has and will travel to the clients' location, but in many cases it is simply unnecessary.

To date, nightclubbiz.com has completed almost 11,000 consultations by phone. A larger number of these consults are conducted with new startups, while the remainder being existing operations. 25% of them have resulted in long term consulting arrangements lasting beyond a year, while several of them resulted in joint participation in projects exceeding 10-million or more.
